Some dentists take the cheaper path & buy low quality equipment online, then we hear they come back from that path, after the bitter taste left by the consequences of buying poor quality products. Firstly check if your new handpieces are TGA approved. If not, dentists can face civil or criminal penalties of up to 5ys jail &/or massive fines. Also consider the safety of your patient. You can imagine the consequence if those non TGA Approved handpieces come apart whilst in use & your patient swallows something. On a long term view, think about Australia’s jobs. It’s a healthy circle when you support an Aussie supplier, who then supports the grocery shop nearby, who’s staff are supporting you by being your patients, enabling you to support an Aussie supplier.....the circle goes on.. Warmest Regards from Jack & Leanne

Dr Benjamin Mansell, Coffs Harbour would like us all to consider sponsoring his team for the 2016 Kokoda Challenge, “No contribution is too big or too small”. On the weekend 16th-17th July, he will be part trekking, part running in Australia’s toughest team endurance event -The Kokoda Challenge. Along with 3 mates,
Josh Pearson, Oregan Watson & Joel Harrigan, they will be trekking 96km (5000mtrs of elevation & 12 creek crossings) hoping to finish within 30hrs. By sponsoring his team, you are directly supporting Aussie teenagers in the Kokoda Challenge Youth Program. The early intervention program is helping young people from a variety of backgrounds to gain confidence, direction, new friends & skills to overcome any obstacles that life throws at them. My team “Worst Pace Scenario” is committed to raising $2,000 & it would be great if you could get behind us by making a fully tax deductable donation through www.kokodachallenge.com/team-profile/worst-pace-scenario-11121 .We have clocked over 380km in training, stumbled across 19 snakes, consumed 80 litres of water & have been in our training shoes for over 60 hours, so far. As well as supporting a very worthwhile cause, my trek is also in honour of the Australian soldiers who fought on the Kokoda Track during WWII. I hope to use the spirit borne there, of mateship, endurance, courage & sacrifice, as inspiration to get me through the tough course. Many thanks in advance, Benjamin Mansell
